Inside, red ink with a green shadow is present. The penmanship is superb, dancing across the parchment; the paper itself is a bit dusty.
To The Grim:
I have spent more time in a prison of kaldorei fashion over the last decade than I have walking under the skies of Azeroth. When we were set free by our jailers, we knew it was for our abilities, and not for forgiveness. While the war around us raged, I learned what I could about what became of my people.
I have since visited each Horde capital, including the newly-freed Suramar. I have spoken with citizens and officers alike, and all of them pointed me in the same direction. One of them was kind enough to lend me a copy of your Mandate.
It would seem the goals of your group align well with mine. You see, the Wardens were not the only ones unwilling to forgive crimes of the past: the Alliance must fall, and I would help you bring them to their knees. I am not blind to their threat.
I can assure you that my allegiance to the Illidari only goes so deep. It was only a few days prior to penning this letter that I was assaulted by a kaldorei hunter who thought to be my better.
This letter's existence speaks to his folly.
We share a common theme: The ends justifies the means.
If you agree, we can talk soon.
