An axe that flickers with a cold blue flame

Unread post by Khorshah »

The engine of the flying machine made a rattling, wheezing noise as the troll brought it to a landing near a simple hut on the slopes of Hyjal. Its pilot dismounted, looking around warily as the contraption spun down. "You call me, dead man?"

A bulky shape moved within the hut, an armored Tauren form with two eyes that glowed with pinpricks of blue flame. "I did. And you came. Always a friend, Jama. Always loyal." The death knight stepped out of the doorway, a massive axe in one hand. The axe's haft - the thighbone of some unknown, long-dead creature - was nearly as long as the troll was tall, and the blade was a massive shard of never-melting ice, carved with runes and wickedly sharp. "It's time."

Jamarion rubbed the back of his neck, eyeing the axe warily. "Yah, you know me. Always pesterin' ya, mon. But what choo need dat ol' ting for, eh? Time fo' what?"

The Tauren grinned mirthlessly and flipped the axe around, extending its handle to the Troll. "See that the Araun gets this. Perhaps he'll divine its meaning before I arrive to explain it to him."

Jamarion grinned in understanding, taking the axe and lashing it to the side of the heavy packs already stowed on the flying machine. "I can do dis t'ing for ya, mon. I be seein' you soo--" The troll turned, but the Death Knight had already vanished back into the hut. Jama shook his head and chuckled. "I see you soon, Khorshah."
