Re: Max Camera Distance Reduction
Action Cam is interesting. Will I use it all the time? No. Will I even use it 50% of the time? Nope. I may use it for screenshots. Maybe in big crowd situations, where I'm trying to track someone. Or maybe while healing. But really, it's a situational thing. Shit, make them one or the other? Max dis...

Re: Max Camera Distance Reduction
What else are they taking away from the UI? I'm on PTR now, and I haven't really noticed much yet. As for this -- that's precisely why Blizz is removing some options from the menus. There are so many things you /can/ tweak, but few people do so. So they're removing them. Camera zoom isn't part of t...

Re: Max Camera Distance Reduction
Yeah, Ion's response was absolutely perplexing. I'm sorry but camera view isn't an "unfair advantage" -- because that all depends on playstyle too. Some people genuinely like being zoomed in. If that's their pref and they get jumped by PVP/adds, versus someone who zooms out and can see wha...

Re: Max Camera Distance Reduction
The only thing that kept me playing a druid as long as I did was max camera zoom, because I got tired of bear ass filling my screen. I adjust my zoom levels /constantly/. If I'm out in the world flying/running around, I like a full-view of the world. This change is probably the first thing in awhile...

Re: Has anyone in Beta worked out the best way to level a healer?
Relics boost one particular trait on your relic tree, so if those are easily replaceable, then you can have a bit more control over 'switching' talents. I don't know how replaceable they will be. You lose the relic if you replace it (similar to regemming), but there's no guarantee that you'd be abl...

Re: Has anyone in Beta worked out the best way to level a healer?
... but keeping two specs up to progression/competitive level is going to be pretty much impossible IMO. Obviously we are not a mythic guild so a trait circle or two isn't going to get you kicked out, but I imagine the top guilds are going to be miserable. I actually feel bad for DPS now. It's goin...

Re: Has anyone in Beta worked out the best way to level a healer?
It does ramp up, quite crazy-like. At 110, with less than half of my artifact weapon traits filled, they're already up to over 10,000 per point.Raukon wrote:Unless the amount of artifact power I earn ramps up dramatically, then the vast majority of the artifact talents will be earned at lvl 110.

Re: Has anyone in Beta worked out the best way to level a healer?
As a tank, I've always leveled as a tank. Even while questing. But that's beside the point. You can stash your artifact power items and use them on whichever weapon you'd prefer. They insist that not only will healers have DPS capabilities, but there will be instances where your artifact helps out a...

Re: The Warcraft movie is ill-conceived propaganda for the Alliance
Khadgar...was a little off, I can't quite pick exactly what it was about him that bothered me Khadgar would have come off better had Medivh soul-sucked him and aged him. I mean, they deviated from lore considerably, but they could have kept that tidbit in. And fuck... I want Blackhand's shoulders. ...

And shell out the extra $$ for 3D, and IMAX if possible.
I am not a fan of 3D, though it's growing on me. Anaie got us 3D IMAX tickets and it was amazing.

Re: Overwatch schedule (like RBGs)
I really wish they did clans in OW, like they do with D3. That'd make grouping up so much easier.

Re: Broken Shore+ experiences
(I'm assuming we'll get a quest to go to Org) > talk to someone out front > prep for invasion > scenario . Return to Org > 2, maybe 3 more quests > go to Dalaran > start on your weapon. And yeah, I'm sure a vast majority of it is the gear expectations. The premades are geared in 680, which is fairly...

Re: Broken Shore+ experiences
The scenario in a group would be good, yes. But I don't think we could get 10 people to agree to start at the same time if our lives depended on it! It's more a thought of, "Considering rushing your alts through in the first week." The artifact chain is all solo-scenario type events. So no...

Broken Shore+ experiences
Holy fuck. The introductory questline, all the way through to getting your artifact weapon, are a bitch on some classes. There is no character copy, so it's basic characters with green 680 gear. Warrior - piece of cake, from what I recall. Demon Hunter - not bad. I died a few times before figuring o...
