Re: Computer Advice
Newegg and Tiger Direct ( http://www.tigerdirect.com ) are my 2 main sources for computer equipment. I have nothing but good things to say about their customer service. The few things that I had to return were processed quickly and painlessly. My goto place for computer and electronic accessories li...

Re: Over medicating children
... try LOCAL honey in a cup of tea. Local honey is a natural remedy as it is made from pollen that is native to your area...I would highly recommend it as it has helped me SOOOO much. Plus it builds up immunities in your system to said pollen after awhile. I second this recommendation. A tablespoo...

Re: Over medicating children
I would start with a trip to the doctor / pediatrician and see what they recommend. Benedryl is not supposed to be used for daily treatment, and I believe the label warns against prolonged daily use. Have you considered Zyrtec or Claritin for her allergy relief? I take Zyrtec daily from spring thru ...

I thought it would make an interesting lawn ornament. Didn't think anyone would miss it. Oh well, my bad.

Re: External HD Question
I've been using Dropbox for a couple months now. Great way to keep files in a common location, or move files from machine to machine if they're too big for e-mail and you don't want to mess around with ftp. That free 2 Gb fills up fast though.

Online backup services are an option to consider going forward. Carbonite is one company that provides this service that I've heard good things about. I can't vouch for them personally, though. http://www.carbonite.com/en/default Cost looks to be about $60 per computer per year with no storage limit...

I understand your feelings. You'll be missed here.
I still remember meeting you at Stonard when you just turned 40 and was showing off your new mount. :)
Fair winds and following seas, brother.

Blood - You could offer to return as a "Consultant" to continue / finish your active projects...at 3x your previous salary. :) I know of at least one person who pulled this off. Xondor - Sucks to hear that. We're on credit hold with so many vendors it's ridiculous, so they 'downsized' our ...

They have their pressure numbers wrong.
Water pressure is approximately 44 psi per 100 ft of depth. (pressure is about 5,720 psi at 13,000 ft)

Re: Up yours, Alienware
You'll definitely get more bang for your buck if you build your own rig. Tigerdirect is where I went to buy the components for my computer when I built it, along with a few pieces from Newegg.com. Both places have very good prices and excellent customer service. The few hardware issues I had with ...

Re: Cataclysm - SPOILER ALERT - BLIZZCON CONFIRMED
Looks like they are addressing a lot of the reasons why I lost interest in WoW. The Guild leveling system, the spells ranks going away, and a few other things seem to be 'borrowed' from WAR. I thought WAR did a good job in those areas, and I hope Blizz gets it right. I hope they stick to what they...

Re: Lorgalis falls on his sword and dies
That's where I'm at, Thal. I'm finding EVE much more challenging, ruthless, and having much lower idiot factor. Wow just got too boring for me. I still keep an eye on the Grim boards and miss hanging out with you guys, but I'm not missing the game much. <------ Blaine Bostolo, space pirate in trai...
