Prospective Grims Read While we strive to excel in all aspects of World of Warcraft (PVE, PVP, RP), The Grim is first and foremost a role playing guild. This means role play and fostering role play among our fellow players is our first priority. We are for you if: - You enjoy role playing AND - You are evil, or at least very pissed off AND - You enjoy raiding AND/OR player-vs-player combat If you are a role player who enjoys playing the game - that is PVPing and doing end game content - we are for you. We are not for you if: - You do not enjoy role playing OR - You want to 'work things out' with the Alliance OR - You want to sit around and focus your RP on relationship drama, etc. OR - You do not enjoy raiding AND/OR player-vs-player combat OR - You want to 'work things out' with the Alliance If you are looking for a guild that is strictly PVP or raiding with no in-character context, or just want to sit in the pub and bemoan the murder of your mother by the Alliance, then we are not for you.
We believe in action, not inaction. Peace through the annihalation of our enemies. In order to be considered for The Grim, please fill out an application and post a letter of introduction on our "Letters to The Grim" forum. The following are the requirements for joining the Grim. - You must be a role player and enjoy that aspect of the game. We are a role playing guild first and foremost - if RP feels like "work" to you, we are not for you. - Read all of the "Vital Information" in the column to the right. - Your character must be at least level 60.
Please make sure your in-game name and forum name on your application match. Some applicants forget this vital piece of information. Typically it takes a few days to respond, and set up a time to meet if the regular sunay meeting does not work for you. If your application has had no respons an officer after a few days feel free to contact them. Iniative impresses us. Registering for the site On the left column, where it asks for login and password, click to register. Create a login that matches your character name, and uses a valid email address. If your login name does not match your character name well enough for us to be able to validate its existence on the World of Warcraft armoury site, your login will be deleted with no notification. Once your registration has been approved (generally within 48 hours), you may fill out the application at that point. Please be as specific as possible. The more specific you are, the more expedient your application process. Feel free to contact one of our officers in game. We may not be able to help you right then, but showing interest in being a Grim will not be considered annoying or pushy. Granted, not everyone will mesh with our guild. Some join and find that our size is too much for them (anywhere from 80-110 characters at any given time). Others simply do not like our style. Others still do not follow the mandate we have posted and are ejected. However, we try to treat each other with the utmost respect and look at each other with trust and friendship. We thank you for your interest in The Grim and look forward to meeting you in Azeroth! (Updated 11/12/08)
